Empty workout data

I am running 3.5.1 on an Android phone.

GPS is on, app has access to storage.

No distance or speed is registered. When I stop the workout it says “Empty workout data”.

Worked fine last fall.

What setting needs to be changed? Or is something else wrong?

Please try changing Location permission from “Allow only while using application” to “Always allow”.
Some manufacturers (like mainly Samsung) wrongly treat first mode (which should work fine according to Android documentation) so when you minimize app or turn off screen they revoke application GPS access.
